2005 – AHIHA participates in first-ever National Disabled Hockey Festival held in Fraser, Michigan.
2003 – Team USA wins bronze medal in the DEAFLYMPICS.™, Sundsvall, Sweden
2003 – The American Hearing Impaired Hockey Association celebrates its 30th anniversary.
1999 – Team USA wins the silver medal at the XIV World Games for the Deaf, Davos, Switzerland.
1998 – The Stan Mikita Hockey School for the Hearing Impaired celebrates its 25th anniversary.
1997 – The hockey school moves to the Seven Bridges Ice Arena in Woodridge, Illinois.
1995 – Team USA wins the gold medal at the XIII World Winter Games for the Deaf, Rovaniemi, Finland.
1991 – Team USA wins the silver medal at the XII World Winter Games for the Deaf, Banff, Canada.
1987 – The Academy Award-winning actress, Marlee Matlin, visits AHIHA and speaks at the mid-week banquet.
1986 – AHIHA co-founder Irv Tiahnybik is honored by the American Hearing Research Foundation as "Man of the Year."
1983 – Overflow crowds pack the Northbrook Sports Complex for the benefit game to watch Stan Mikita and Bobby Hull skate together again.
1980 – The U.S. National Deaf Hockey Team travels to Vancouver, British Columbia and defeats the Vancouver Silent Canucks in four straight games.
1978 – The hockey school moves to the Northbrook Sports Complex, Northbrook, Illinois; visiting speakers include Mike Ditka and Bill Veeck.
1977 – The hockey school moves to the Twin Ice Arena, Oak Brook, Illinois; visiting hockey professionals include Tony Esposito, Cliff Koroll, Keith Magnuson, Phil Russell, Bobby Orr, and Billy Reay.
1975 – Mikita's All Stars and the AHIHA Varsity squad take to the ice for the first benefit game.
1974 – The first Stan Mikita Hockey School for the Hearing Impaired is held at Randhurst Twin Ice Arena, Mount Prospect, Illinois; 31 players attend.
